The American-Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce (AUCC) seeks to promote trade and investment ties, cultural exchanges and bonds of friendship between the United States of America and the Republic of Uzbekistan. In performing these functions, the AUCC places primary emphasis on serving the needs and interests of its members.

Uzbekistan, China to strengthen military relations

China is ready to work together with its Uzbek partners on the implementation of the agreements reached between the heads of the two countries Xi Jinping and Islam Karimov, in order to bring relations between the Chinese and Uzbek armed forces to a new level, member of China's State Council and Defence Minister Chang Wanqua said during the meeting with Uzbekistan's Defence Minister Kabul Berdiev who is on a visit in China, Xinhua reported.

Chang Wanqua also spoke of intensifying cooperation with Uzbekistan in the sphere of military education, joint training and other spheres.

The Uzbekistan's Defence Minister positively assessed the results achieved to date in bilateral cooperation and expressed gratitude to the Chinese leadership for help and support, as well as the hope for more active cooperation between the armed forces of the two countries, Xinhua reported.
