Invitation: US Ambassador George A. Krol to Host Direct Line to American Business Video Conference on Oil and Gas
Direct Line to American Business Video Conference
On September 12, 2013 at 10:00AM (Washington, DC EDT) U.S. Embassy Tashkent will host a Direct Line to American Business video conference call on potential procurement opportunities in Uzbekistan’s oil and gas industries. The potential for contracting and partnering in energy research and extraction projects is substantial in Uzbekistan, and the Direct Line format provides U.S. companies an opportunity to communicate directly with industry experts in Tashkent.
The Direct Line call will be hosted by Ambassador George Krol, with the participation of Shokir Fayzullaev, Chairman of UzbekNefteGaz (Uzbekistan’s largest national oil and gas holding company), industry experts from the Tashkent office of PricewaterhouseCoopers, and members of the Natural Resources Subcommittee of the American Chamber of Commerce in Uzbekistan. Attendees in the U.S. will be able to log into the event from any computer with Internet access or as a group through the American-Uzbek Chamber of Commerce in Washington, DC. Participants will be able to view the live presentation and participate in the call via text-input. If you would like to receive further information and details about registering for the event, please send your company contact information to DirectLineTashkent@state.gov.
