Programme Description:

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the "EBRD" or the "Bank") intends to cooperate with the Ministry of Energy, the national gas transportation holding KazTransGas JSC and its subsidiaries, in particular Intergas Central Asia (Kazakhstan's natural gas transmission system operator) and KazTransGas Aimak (natural gas distribution company that supplies gas in all but one region of Kazakhstan), as well as other key stakeholders on a new Programme aimed at measuring, reporting and reducing methane fugitive emissions along the national gas-sector infrastructure (the "Programme").
