The proposed project is part of a comprehensive ADB package which also includes budget support for the COVID-19 Active Response and Expenditure Support (CARES) Program. The proposed project will be co-financed by ADB and AIIB to urgently increase Uzbekistan's resilience to COVID-19 pandemics and other epidemics.
