The American-Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce (AUCC) seeks to promote trade and investment ties, cultural exchanges and bonds of friendship between the United States of America and the Republic of Uzbekistan. In performing these functions, the AUCC places primary emphasis on serving the needs and interests of its members.

Uzbekistan, the U.S. develop cooperation in education

The Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan organized a press conference at the head Scientific and Methodological Center of the ministry with participation of experts from the United States.

Detailed information was provided on ongoing joint projects with the United States to improve the qualifications of teachers in higher education.

The practice of continuous training of leading and pedagogical personnel introduced in September 2019 was also considered. From September to December 2019, 3380 senior and teaching staff of higher education institutions were accepted to retraining and advanced training courses. After conducting mastery classes in their specialty, 492 students were issued with qualification certificates.

This year, 8221 specialists of the management and pedagogical staff of higher education institutions are scheduled to conduct retraining and advanced training courses, of which 1593 will pass distance learning.

Plans for the future were also considered at the event.
