According to the US Embassy in Uzbekistan, USDA’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) concluded its evaluation of Uzbekistan’s agricultural products. The embassy said quoting APHIS Trade Director Prakesh Hebbar that USDA will issue permits to Uzbekistan to export beans, mung beans, chickpeas, almonds, walnuts, raisins, dried apricots, prunes, and dried figs to the United States. |read|

Herat Rice Production Up 25% This Year: Officials

Herat’s rice fields are located mostly along the Harirod river which passes through Herat’s Anjel, Woba, Guzra, and Pashtun Zarghon districts.
