2013 U.S.-Uzbekistan Annual Business Forum Celebrating AUCC 20th Anniversary
8.30 am - 5.00 pm
Thursday, September 5, 2013
This event is sponsored and organized by the American-Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce.
This year's forum will mark the chamber's 20th Anniversary and we will celebrate our members' important role in advancing the U.S.-Uzbekistan trade and investment agenda.
Mr. Elyor Ganiev, Minister for Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, will lead the Uzbek delegation to the U.S.
More information about the forum's speakers and the venue will be available in the coming weeks.
For twenty years, the American-Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce (AUCC) has been at the forefront of advancing trade and investment relations between the US and Uzbekistan. Established in 1993, AUCC is the oldest foreign trade association in the Republic of Uzbekistan and the second oldest trade association in the U.S. among the Former Soviet Union Republics. AUCC is the only trade entity in the U.S. and the Republic of Uzbekistan representing American companies.
The majority of the AUCC members have been active in Uzbekistan since the early days of independence. Diversity of AUCC members' experience in doing business in Uzbekistan and their ability to collaborate constructively on issues of importance to the governments of the United States and the Republic of Uzbekistan are what make AUCC unique and successful.
AUCC members have been ardent advocates and supporters of generating economic gains and employment for the U.S. and Uzbek people and have accumulated valuable knowledge of what works best for advancing bilateral business dialogue. AUCC members view the 2013 U.S.-Uzbekistan Annual Business Forum as a prime venue to review their achievements and successes, reiterate their commitment to the American and Uzbek people and demonstrate their appreciation for the continuing support of the trade agenda by the U.S. and Uzbek Government offices.
